Emory's Center for Health Discovery DICOM Integrations

Emory's Center for Health Discovery integrated an iDXA scanner and other medical devices used in its study to advise and track study participants health using an event-driven architecture with OpenEAI and DCM4CHE. After these scans are performed and event containing results metadata updates research databases and triggers the transfer of scan images from the iDXA scanner to DCM4CHEE managed by the Emory research IT. Research from the Center and its studies is summarized here.
